Stripe hosts the bank-detail step

After Kim Kitch Care confirms eligibility, an approved customer is directed to Stripe’s secure hosted Checkout. Full bank account details are entered there. Kim Kitch Care does not directly collect or store the full account number; Stripe returns only limited payment and mandate information needed to administer the transaction.

It is a single payment, not a subscription debit

The payer authorises £95 for K1, £120 for K2 or £160 for K3. That amount buys one fixed 12-month membership. The term expires automatically, and another year requires a new order and new payment authorisation.

Processing and membership activation

A new Bacs Direct Debit can take several business days to confirm. Returning from Stripe means the instruction was submitted; it does not prove the money has cleared. We treat the payment as successful only after Stripe supplies a signed payment-success notification.

After confirmation, we complete manual onboarding and send the contract, cooling-off information, registered-appliance details and exact service dates. Checkout submission alone does not activate the membership.

Advance notice and statement presentation

Stripe sends the notices required for a Bacs collection, including the amount, expected date and payment reference. Under Stripe’s standard Bacs branding, STRIPE is shown on the bank statement and mandate communications while collecting on behalf of Kim Kitch Care.

The Direct Debit Guarantee

The Guarantee applies where an error is made in setting up or collecting a Direct Debit—for example, the wrong amount or collection date. It does not determine a disagreement about the quality, limits or delivery of a membership or separately purchased repair.

Mandate cancellation and refunds

A mandate may be cancelled through the payer’s bank or by asking us. Please also contact Kim Kitch Care so the membership record is addressed correctly. Mandate cancellation does not by itself cancel the service contract, settle an amount properly due or create a refund.
